In 2006, Jeannie Smith envisioned establishing an American Bistro in the heart of Little Rock’s historic Hillcrest neighborhood. She aimed to provide the ambiance of a big-city restaurant while delivering a memorable dining experience in a delightful setting. Her dream materialized as SO Restaurant-Bar, which continues to stand as a lasting legacy in the community she cherished. Now, the kitchen is led by Chef Joseph Carmelo Salgueiro.
