Bearded Chef Guy is back “In the Kitchen” this month with another easy-to-make recipe that’s perfect for a weeknight dinner or game day appetizer.

If your house is anything like mine, there could be a difference in opinion on dinner options. These His and Hers Flatbreads should help you out with that problem! You can make these in an oven or pizza oven (which is what I used). They’re so quick to put together that you’ll have plenty of time to assemble the toppings while it preheats.

HERS: GOAT CHEESE & FIG FLATBREAD
INGREDIENTS
1 flatbread
crumbled goat cheese
figs, thinly sliced
arugula
salt and pepper
olive oil
balsamic glaze
PREPARATION
Start out by warming up the pizza oven to 400-450℉. Evenly distribute goat cheese and figs on the flatbread, then top with kosher salt and cracked pepper.
Place on parchment paper directly on the pizza stone once it’s preheated. Cook for 5-10 minutes until the flatbread crisps up around the edges. While it’s cooking, lightly coat the arugula with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
Once the flatbread has cooked, add arugula, drizzle balsamic glaze on top, and enjoy!

HIS: BBQ FLATBREAD
INGREDIENTS
1 flatbread
shredded cheddar from the block
pulled pork (can use any protein)
purple onion, sliced thin
hot sauce (I prefer Arkansas Diamond Fire)
barbecue sauce (I used Blues Hog Original)
PREPARATION
Preheat the oven or pizza oven to 400-450℉. Add cheese to the flatbread first, then top with pulled pork and purple onion.
Place on parchment paper directly on the pizza cooking stone once it’s preheated. Cook for 5-10 minutes until the flatbread crisps up around the edges.
Once the edges are crisp, remove, top with hot sauce and barbecue sauce, and enjoy!
