Soup season is almost here, and we couldn’t be more excited! We’re looking forward to this Butternut Squash Soup recipe from Boulevard Bread Co., along with an incredible pork chop recipe—both featured in the September issue of our sister publication, At Home in Arkansas.
After opening in 2000, Boulevard was one of Little Rock’s first farm-to-table restaurants. Co-owner Christina Basham hopes to continue sourcing from local farmers and offering fresh bakery staples and coffee for the morning rush. And, not to mention, healthy, homemade meals for lunch and dinner. Read the full story here.

A dash of nutmeg, turmeric, cayenne pepper, and a cinnamon stick give this Butternut Squash Soup a comforting kick. Find the recipe here.

Next Up: Garlic and rosemary-marinated French-cut pork chop with whole-grain mustard cream sauce. Can you say that five times fast? Find the recipe here.
