After several years as a fall event—and a hiatus in 2024—the World Cheese Dip Championship and Foam Fest Craft Beer Festival makes the move to a summer date. Try dozens of the popular dip Arkansas claims as its own while tasting adult beverages at North Little Rock’s Dickey-Stephens Park from 12-3 p.m. on June 7. The World Cheese Dip Championship gives attendees the opportunity to taste queso from local vendors including The Purple Cow, Rx Catering, Arbo’s, Southern Tail, and Dizzy’s Gypsy Bistro, a past winner in the competition portion of the event, which will be judged by a mix of local foodies and restaurant professionals.
For the Foam Fest Craft Beer Festival, those 21 and older can taste craft beer and ciders from Flyway Brewing, Lost Forty, Southern Tail, and Diamond Bear Brewing as well as regional and national brands. An all-access ticket ($45) includes unlimited cheese dip and beverage samples, plus a souvenir cup. Tickets are also available for cheese dip only ($20) and kids access ($15). There will be additional vendors, performers, live music, and a kids zone, making it an event the whole family will enjoy.
